I am an economist working on AI governance, compute governance and global public goods. Coefficient Giving has funded two of my projects: AI forecasting tools for policymakers and a career accelerator for compute governance. I founded 10Billion.org, whose communities in four cities in Europe and Southeast Asia, from Berlin to Manila, have involved more than 300 people. I have held fellowships at Harvard Kennedy School, the Centre for the Governance of AI and Pugwash. Earlier, I was a summer research fellow at Oxford’s Future of Humanity Institute. My writing has appeared in Lawfare, Tech Policy Press and World Economic Forum Stories. I co-founded the Equiano Institute and previously directed Effective Thesis, which won a 2024 PACEY Award.
