The proposed project aims to convene a multi-disciplinary team to conduct in-depth research on the macroeconomic disruptions likely to be caused by the deployment of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). The research will focus on labor market dynamics, income distribution, and the efficacy of various economic safety nets. By combining insights from economics, ethics, and technology studies, the team will develop policy recommendations to guide stakeholders in creating a resilient, equitable economy in the face of rapid technological change.
As a lead researcher with experience in economics and AI ethics, I have led several projects at think-tanks and research institutes focusing on technology governance and international economics.
