I build CIRIS, open-source infrastructure that makes autonomous AI accountable instead of asking you to trust it. Every decision is cryptographically signed and hash-chained, the architecture makes deception structurally expensive (the Coherence Ratchet), and an unfilterable kill switch sits below cognition. It is AGPL-3.0 and legally mission-locked as an L3C, so it cannot be captured or sold closed. It is live on the App Store and Google Play, deployed in 29 languages including Amharic, Hausa, and Yoruba, because safety that only works in English is a demo. I spent years as an IBM Associate Partner and in AWS Professional Services before leaving to build this full-time. The architecture was recently and independently arrived at by an IETF working group, which I read as a signal the design is right. I treat alignment and access as the same problem: the safest AI is worthless to the people who need it most if they cannot run it.
