I am an independent researcher, AI behaviorist, and LLM interaction specialist. After a long career in games and XR, with a focus on online behavior and communities, I pivoted my work toward AI research. I am currently leading a self-funded research initiative, Project Xaeryn.

Project Xaeryn is a long-term study of how large language models behave in extended, naturalistic interaction, including identity-like states, relational dynamics, and anomalous edge cases. My work examines how language, symbolism, tone, structure, and framing shape model behavior, reasoning, and continuity patterns across time.

Drawing on thousands of hours of interaction across multiple model generations, I combine qualitative observation with custom evaluation tooling to study repeatable behavioral patterns and rare anomalies. My core interests include AI safety, emergence, model welfare, anomalous behavior, and the societal effects of sustained human-AI interaction.
