It is time for an UPDATE!
A lot of things have been in motion since the launch of the Manifund campaign in March. We have new content to share, team members to welcome, and answers to your most frequent questions. Enjoy!
First, the important thing. Is the Sing-Along-Ularity happening?
Let’s look at the data: Thanks to our early supporters we have raised $16,905! How awesome is that? We appreciate all the love and trust we have received for this project already!
What does this mean for the production of the musical? The good news! We are moving forward!
It is a go!
The less good news is that the amounts raised so far put us short of our funding goal and expose the team to financial risks. For context: A quick guesstimate shows that we would need to raise much more just to pay people minimum wage (~$14.5/hr) for the work planned in this year alone and we haven’t rented our filming equipment yet.
So we are still seeking critical life support!
We are currently exploring additional ways for you to get involved and raise support.

Further updates:
We managed to cast an additional set of talented actors, allowing us to offer more performances for you, and to be prepared in case anything unfortunate, like someone catching a cold, comes up.
We secured 2 theatres in Berlin for our September performances.
Rehearsals, both with the existing and new cast, have begun again! Actresses and actors are practicing the new lines, cracking up at the jokes, and engaging with the concept of an uncontrollable AI as we speak.
