I’m Amritanshu Prasad, a 23-year-old focused on redefining how technology, especially AI, interacts with the world.

I began my academic journey in mechanical engineering but switched to data science in 2021, drawn by its impact potential. My work centers around AI safety and governance, areas I explored deeply after engaging with effective altruism in 2022. Since then, I have facilitated BlueDot Impact’s AI Governance course and worked with METR (Model Evaluation and Threat Research) as a Data Annotation and Model Interaction Contractor. I have also worked on projects such as surveying the AI governance landscape in India, a conflict avoidance framework for autonomous military systems, and how "Chips for Peace" could learn from "Atoms for Peace".

I currently intend to focus on working on AI governance, specifically in regard to technical governance and international policy.
