Project summary

This project identifies and mitigates a reproducible protocol-level interaction risk observed across deployed large language models, where ambiguous user intent can trigger unintended authority-bearing or escalatory responses. The work focuses on protocol-layer mitigation rather than model weights, training data, behavioral claims and produce reproducible evaluation criteria suitable for external review and responsible disclosure.

What are this project's goals? How will you achieve them?

The goal is to finalize a protocol-level risk assessment and produce an implementation-ready mitigation specification (UIVP) that introduces a minimal, consent-preserving intent verification gate prior to authority-bearing responses.

This will be achieved through a bounded protocol audit, cross-model test case formalization, mitigation specification hardening, and preparation of reproducible evaluation criteria suitable for external review and responsible disclosure.

How will this funding be used?

Funding supports a time-boxed 30–60 day execution phase to complete documentation, finalize the mitigation specification, produce reproducible test cases, and prepare disclosure-ready materials. Funding does not support population studies, clinical claims, deployment, or regulatory certification.

Who is on your team? What's your track record on similar projects?

I am a solo, independent researcher. I have prior experience in systems analysis, protocol design, and independent technical research. This project builds on previously completed cross-model validation and documented protocol-level findings.

What are the most likely causes and outcomes if this project fails?

The most likely cause of failure would be insufficient external interest or feedback rather than technical infeasibility. In that case, the outcome would be a documented negative result and a finalized internal analysis, with no downstream deployment or harm introduced.

How much money have you raised in the last 12 months, and from where?
