Good Work Hub is a social impact organization dedicated to creating a more equitable charitable funding ecosystem. Micro-charities, organizations with assets of less than 50k per year, comprise 70% of nonprofits yet receive less than 1% of allocated charitable grant dollars. Good Work Hub is committed to bridging this gap.
Our goal is twofold: to enhance our capabilities and infrastructure to create stronger connections between micro-charities and funding opportunities, and to increase the volume of micro-grants we distribute—addressing a critical and urgent need within this underserved sector. We will accomplish this by developing our platform and establishing strategic partnerships to scale micro-grant disbursement.
The funding will be used to enhance our platform to connect organizations with additional funding opportunities and to provide micro-grants to these micro-charities.
I founded GoodWorkHub after working as an operations leader and as a Management Consultant for multiple fortune 100 companies while simultaneously leading and volunteering for dozens of micro-charities over the years. I have experienced first-hand what these organizations endure. I am also a two time recipient of the White House Presidential Service Award. The Good Work platform bridges the gap between Technology and Philanthropy.
The primary risk to this project would be an inability to deliver on our planned capabilities. However we have mitigated the risk of this outcome with our successful launch of our functional version one, which has already demonstrated platform viability.
Good Work Hub launched last October 2024, and we’ve raised $250k in in-kind grants and services. We are also actively fundraising, with multiple grant applications pending.
