I am a fresh PhD graduate in Sociology from Cambridge, with primary training in quantitative sociology, social epidemiology/public health, public policy, education, international development, geopolitics, and socio-technology. I am actively seeking funding to support a career transition into AI research, with a focus on three main streams:

1. Spending 2025/26 seeking career development and transitioning opportunities to become a (China-related) AI policy and governance researcher, with a focus on data-driven US-China and West-China AI co-ordination policy research.

2. Building a global AI data compilation and documentation project (expected outputs: the curated global AI panel dataset and its documentation will be published at open-source Harvard Dataverse annually) to facilitate global open-source research on AI time-efficiently.

3. Building a dynamic, public-facing web app and site (as an interactive dashboard) that provides real-time, AI-driven insights and news by aggregating data from my annually updated open-source curated global AI panel dataset and other leading AI databases/observatories.
