I'm a 49-years-old generalist senior software engineer with experience across a very wide stack. After reading through the 80000 Hours Career Guide, taking the AI Safety, Ethics & Society course from the Center of AI Safety, and reading Superintelligence from Nick Bostrom, I've come to focus my life on AI safety with as much effort as I can. Currently I'm working on a forecasting methodology about the effects of improving AI capabilities on the job markets.
