I am the author or lead editor of twelve books, including "The Death of Death", "The Singularity Principles", "Vital Foresight", "The Abolition of Aging", "Smartphones and Beyond", and "Sustainable Superabundance". I co-host the highly-rated London Futurists Podcast. Earlier in my career I spent 10 years at mobile computing pioneer Psion PLC, and then 10 more years at the trailblazing smartphone OS company Symbian Ltd. I subsequently spent 3 years as Chief Technology Officer of Accenture Mobility. My current roles include co-chair of the Millennium Project UK node, board director at the IEET, advisor to PauseAI UK, Foresight Advisor at SingularityNET, and Fellow at the International Centre for Sustainability. My personal blog is dw2blog. I have a triple first MA in Mathematics from Cambridge University, where I also undertook postgraduate research in the Philosophy of Science. I have an honorary doctorate in science (DSc) from the University of Westminster, in recognition of my services to the smartphone industry.
