My academic background lies in urban remote sensing, CNN application in remote sensing, and geostatistics. I aim to specialise in data pipeline engineering, management, architectures. When I'm distracted, I enjoy a board range of other topics from philosophy to anthropology to various languages. Outside my professional life, I like to climb, travel, cook, and secretly write more code. I hope to marry Earth Observation, geospatial tech, and other alternative data with traditional professional services to tackle challenges in global development.

I have partnered with a geospatial domain NGO Humanitarian OpenStreetMap and the German Aerospace Center to innovate on open-sourced assisted AI-mapping. That project has provided a clear direction where HOT could steer away from proprietary solution and a multi-year project fAIr was created.
I have had experienced working in startup, large research organisation, and NGO before. My last employment was a Data Scientist at an ESG rating firms at Sustainable Finance where I introduced the idea of earning to give and effective altruism to company's senior and management. I explored the ideas of how to steer ESG towards longtermist considerations such as AI Alignment assessment etc.
I am currently volunteering as the operations for newly launched Munich AI Alignment. Since I came from a geospatial Computer Vision background, I still needed some time to learn about language models in order to be doing any effective AI Safety research. Therefore, I have positioned myself to be the operation support. I current manage the taskboard, github, website, and am the outreach contact person for the brand new research collective.
I hope to contribute to both longtermism and near-termism at the same time.
